title for the keynote address to be delivered at the Friday morning
breakfast by Dr. William A. Holmes, retired, Baltimore-Washington Conference
of the United Methodist Church

THE SILENCE FOUNDATION! Pat Webb and David McClesky (who passed away earlier
this year) have led the Silence Foundation for over a decade, developing
methodologies that refresh our spirits in the midst of our engagement. Pat
will lead us "In the Silence." each morning in a 25 minute writing
meditation that will honor our need for silence and stillness as we ponder
"What's alive in me today?  What am I open to receive?  What am I willing to
give?"
