Dear Janice,
Remembering Abe, I especially think of his primarily invisible part in
"Between the Arrows."
Prior to the Millennium Conference, Abe's problem-solving attentiveness
helped link individuals
around the world who would come together in Denver as cast and crew to stage
a telling of one volume of ICA stories.
I also remember Abe as steadfast partner/contributor as you worked on music
for
the show, pounding out on the piano, "We've got two flatbed trucks full of
wall board." Remember
the triumphant lyric, after "doors were tumblin', plaster crumblin'" that
finally, "Doors are open, in Hoboken!" I'm imagining that the doors of heaven and
our hearts too open with the same
joy in Abe's everlasting spirit.
With caring,
Donna and Dallas
