I've been thinking of you both -- you are always so kind to remember other folks in times of stress.  Exactly right -- taking no chances.  The hospital-plus is where you want to be when there's any question.  The "plus" is having another loving person there to give one on one attention -- to notice any tiny sign of trouble and rejoice at every sign of progress.  Nurses and doctors are skilled, caring, but so busy, and they can miss things.  The non-medical, or semi-medical, advocate can make a significant difference.  Love to the patient and the plus.

  He's to stay overnight an extra day due to fever. Dr. and I aren't taking
  any chances, even though he was all dressed ready to go home.
