David Brookes is in the unenviable position of having to mouth
Republican party lines, picking at nits, and discounting what he
hears.   I especially appreciated watching him squirm nervously
when in a face-to-face situation with Jimmie Carter who would
not give Brookes a millimeter and ever-so-kindly showed Brookes
to be the small-minded twerp he and his ilk can be.
