My thanks to Ellen Howie and David Reese for their letters yesterday about 
Del Morrill's e-mail on the above subject and my response to it. My attribution 
was wrong, and I apologize to these friends as well as to the list serve for 
my incorrect response. 

When I read Del's original message I was very impressed with the "news 
feature" she enclosed and I   attributed it to Del in my response. I agreed with her 
statement that it needed to be more widely available. As I read the feature 
it seemed to me to follow the classic ORID framework; I have just re-read the 
feature and I think that judgement is correct, but I mistakenly referred to the 
article as Del's and not the author she was quoting. I apologize to Del and 
to the actual author and I am grateful to be corrected.

The feature in question   was "With Trembling Fingers" by Hal Crowther, May 
12, 2004.
