[Dialogue] Post Election

Colleagues:
I've remembered a couple more things that I did in this campaign that I've
never done before.
1) I volunteered and received 10 names of newly registered voters in Florida
from TrueMajority's system called VoterCall. I called them, urged them to
vote and offered assistance to help them get to the polls or to help them
find their polling place if they didn't know where it was. The system had a
reporting procedure that I assume would have responded if they had needed
help. (I was only able to reach 3 of the 10 names. I left messages for the
others. Two had voted or were going to. One lady said she had registered and
had never received her voter registration card. I turned that in on the
report too.)
2) I was also a "Human Billboard" for the State Senate candidate. Several of
us positioned ourselves at busy intersections yesterday morning (Nov 2) at 7
AM holding up large signs for our candidate. I was there for over an hour.
At about 10 minutes until 8, I counted 100 cars that came through the
intersection in a couple of minutes. Some of my friends saw me and have told
me later that they thought I was crazy. Many people that I didn't know waved
and honked.
