Progressive faith did lose the election. And that was because our 
"progressive" voice simply did not attract enough votes. Reactive faith won the election—
this time around—but remains vulnerable over the long haul.

But faith itself is undamaged, for either side. For faith is built on grace, 
not political issues, and we now have the opportunity to embody our 
grace-filled faith response as we keep on keeping on.
