With all due respect to Wayne, I do recall one of my grade school 
teachers and some current philosophy professors who once said that a 
square does not know itself as a square except in relation to a circle. 
  We do have some folks who want to define others - conservatives and 
liberals alike.  So, rather than letting someone else define our 
values, why don't we step up to the plate and define them for 
ourselves.
