We remember the Kobe/Osaka period with the steadfastness that Muriel -- and
Bob and their children -- exhibited in the midst of conflict and struggles.

Subject: [Dialogue] Muriel Griffin's 75th B'Day!
Muriel Griffin marks her first 75 years on April 23rd.
If you have known her and benefited from working with her during these
3/4ths
of a Century,
would you honor her by sending a brief word of how she has been of value to
you,
something of how you have appreciated her in your relationship,
or any other word of love you would like to extend
at this time in her life.
Muriel and Bob are both well. They live just 25 miles east of Winterset in
Indianola, Iowa,
so we have occasion to see each other as our paths cross from time to time.
Muriel stays busy giving herself to refugees coming to Central Iowa,
teaching English as a Second Language in Des Moines
and leading learning opportunities about
her faith and the world around us.
Please return your few lines, a half page, a page of your objective,
reflective, interpretive
or decisional level thoughts to me at this e-mail address and I will get
them
to
Bob so that he can surprise Muriel with the words of how 75 of her
friends and loved ones have valued her through their past
relationships and wish her their love in the years ahead.
Bob needs them on April 20th!
