It would certainly be a hoot to let this continue and fester into a
wonderfully informative exchange about linguistic political correctness and
e-etiquette! However, I think I shall attempt to nip it in the bud by
saying that personally I enjoyed Lucille's response, found a certain element
of truth in her designation and felt it accompanied by a good deal of
affection--as, of course, I also intended in my epistle to George.
And I'm still thinking about just what to call her --
