Sunny,
You and Ellie Stock are, as far as I remember (my 68-year old brain is
less reliable than it has been) the only ones who responded to my
mid-December e-mail to Colleague Dialogue about Daniel Quinn and Ishmael.
Dan Brown's The DaVinci Code is the only other book that has caught my
imagination this year, but I had no desire to read the books that either
confirmed or rebutted Brown's theses.
Quinn is painting human possibility and planetary survival for the
future, not, like Brown, just revealing what has been hidden for centuries.
(Just is perhaps not the accurate word, because I don't want to downplay the
disastrous effects of Rome's commitment to mind control, which I have been
in touch with for my entire life. But thereby hangs another tale, another
dialogue. And yes, Richard and I still go to Mass most Sundays, but not for
the reasons we went those many years past. Our sons and their families do
not, which is not an issue with us.)
Glad you caught up on your e-mail. I enjoy your participation in any
and all dialogues, Sunny.
Grace and Peace
