John, I bought the book some weeks back and have it on top of all my other 
"must read" ones.  I did get through the first chapter and find it fascinating.  
 BUT got into Spong's latest, THE SINS OF SCRIPTURE  which our FREE THINKERS 
SSchool class will be reading in two weeks.   NOW, that one will blow the lid 
off for lots of people.  I hear TIME Mag even has a page on it but I haven't 
yet seen that one.  


O yes, my doctor has interpreted a recent report from a SCAN done last week 
in most favorable terms.  Not healing but maybe a move toward remission.   I 
told him that lots of people were going to give God the credit and he responded, 
 " It is all right to give God Credit."

I may get through some of those 20 books stacked up on my "read list"  yet.
