Thank you for sharing your inside knowledge of Judge Merhige and the courage 
and integrity he demonstrated in a hostile, bigoted situation.  I admire 
also the integrity and courage you demonstrated in that same situation.  And 
thanks again for posting Bishop Spong's comments.  I value them and 
immediately share them with a friend who also is appreciative.  Finally, I 
thank you for playing a major role in making Dialogue a listserve that 
nourishes me.
