Dear Colleagues,

We, at ICA, are officially off and running in a renewed effort to hire an
Executive Director. Attached is the position announcement for your
information and use.

Please reflect on the people you know who combine the experience of being an
executive director for a non profit organization as well as a leaning to
facilitative leadership. Contact them! Send them the position announcement
which follows this note. Have them talk to Marilyn Oyler or Ken Gilbert or
Dick Wilkinson or any of the other ICA staff members you would like to
recommend. If they've already been touched by ICA's work, all the better!

We were too passive the last time out, hoping the right fish would happen
by. This time we need to actively contact promising prospects.

Our revised selection process now includes a fast-track for exceptional
candidates. Note also we have relaxed the expectation an Executive Director
would split their time roughly evenly between Chicago and Phoenix. While we
still expect a material presence in both locales, the

Executive Director's travel will depend on weighing how best to serve ICA in
light of immediate priorities.

Let me know if you have questions.
