[Dialogue] wedgeblade web site ideas

First, the oe mailing list is temporarily offline - I'll get it back
as quickly as possible.

After discussions with fellow list administrators Harry Wainwright
and David Dunn, I decided to obtain web site hosting for the
wedgeblade.net domain. I haven't done anything with it yet, as you'll
see if you point your browser to it. This means that
www.wedgeblade.net will point to a web site related to the two
wedgeblade mailing lists, oe at wedgelade.net and
dialogue at wedgeblade.net. We will to decide and design the content for
this web site.

I am looking for a few people who would like to help design the web
site. You don't need to be technical if you have ideas on what the
content should be, though technical help is also welcome.

A big decision is whether it should be public so anyone can see it
or to have some sort of login to restrict access to mailing list
members.

There are a lot of possibilities, this doesn't do any more than begin
the brainstorm:

1. post papers or documents too long to gracefully fit in list
messages

2. post pictures of folks

3. people news

I don't want to discuss this here, if you are interested in helping
let me know by private email (twegner at swbell.net). I'll set up a way
for us to communicate. We'll report back from time to time. Keep in
mind I'm not in a big hurry, I still have a day job managing space
shuttle software projects, so we'll be proceeding on an as-time-is-
available pace.
