Hi Tim,

One thing to consider is a community portal for interactive forums,  
polls, calendar, and such.  I use Moodle a lot as both a learning  
management system and as a community exchange area.   Here is what we  
set up in ICA Australia:  http://community.topfacilitators.net     
Moodle is available free at moodle.org
