A relative sent this poem to my wife, Barbara, Terry Wright's sister. I think it has special meaning for all of us who are at that age when loved ones disappear so often. Barbara flew to Denver this morning determined to visit with Terry while he is still capable. We don't know how long that will be. Jim Rippey in Bellevue, NE

There She Comes!

I am standing on the sea shore.

A ship spreads her white sails to the breeze and starts for the ocean.

She is an object of beauty and I stand watching her
till at last she fades on the horizon
and someone says, "She is gone."

Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all.

The loss of sight is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when someone says, "She is gone."
there are other voices who are watching her coming;
other voices take up the glad shout, "There she comes!"

And that is dying.
