Ahhh, the days when we were all young and eager to do good work in the world
-- anywhere. I know Lynn will be bringing blessings from a pure heart.

Subject: [Dialogue] New Adventures of Lynn True
Hello Colleagues and Friends,
Many of you expressed best wishes to Lynn True for her work on the
documentary iThemba|Hope, shown by the Sundance Channel last year. One
of the directors of that project has invited Lynn to join his team on a
new film project called:
HEAL MY PEOPLE it is a film that documents the lives of rape survivors
in the Congo as they work with medical staff and counselors to regain
their health and dignity. www.gomafilmproject.org
She leaves Friday for 2 months to the Democratic Republic of the Congo -
yes not the safest place in the world. And, of course, Goma, DRC is in
the north - far from Kinshasa and where the tensions continue. She flies
into Kilgali, Rwanda then takes a 3 hour bus trip to Goma. Once there
she will be hosted in the compound of one of the docs that is part of
the project.
Bob and I are thrilled with this professional opportunity for her, and
proud of her care, while at the same time, being mindful of the possible
danger she may encounter. This is a time when one becomes grateful for
faith. Trusting she will remain safe is my prayer. Please hold her in
your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
G&P,
Sandra
