Well put. If you send plain text messages in messages to the list,
you can't lose. (The list software is somewhat forgiving even if your
email is not plain text.)
I found instructions on the web for how to configure many different
email programs to send plain text. The link is here:
http://www.expita.com/nomime.html#programs
Just look up your email program in the list and do what the
instructions say. (This is only needed if you are having trouble
sending messages TO the list.) It's a bit technical, but if you
scroll that web page up, there's an explanation for why send plan
text.
My offer still stands to help anyone who is having problems. Just let
me know.

<laughing!!!> I don't know about prayer, but karma helps. My wife is
completely annoyed when I just sit down in front of her computer and
the problem magically vanishes. I achieve this by closing my eyes,
taking a deep breath, and visualizing a happy and healthy computer.
The visualization exercise increases my computer karma. Swearing or
otherwise thinking unfriendly thoughts about the computer is asking
for trouble. It's a well kept secret that computers are psychic and
have feelings that are easily hurt <grin!>
