I'm forwarding this for David Zahrt, who is still having mailing list
problems (my Karma's not working...) which I'm intensively
investigating.

David's message:

I am considering the possibility of offering the Living The Questions
study program. Probably begin just after the first of the year and be
a study leading up to Lent.

Who has had experience with the study?

Are there any words of wisdom for me as I anticipate this venture?

David

Tim's answer to David:

My church (www.covenanthouston.org) is using Living the Questions for
a one hour class. It's designed for a two and a half hour session
over a meal. It works pretty well. I recommend using it with some
sort of facilitation, and pausing the DVD fairly often. Groups that
are at least moderately liberal will like it. There are many voices
represented. Some are fairly strident, some more mild, which is why
some facilitation is needed to lead the discussion.

I don't know what it's like with a more mainstream group since my
such is very progressive.

Tim
