[Dialogue] Papa Swami to Iowa

Dear Colleagues,
Dr. Swaminathan was in Iowa last week to receive an honorary doctorate from ISU, and he also presented a seminar probably with the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture at ISU.  As soon as he went back to India, our local high school girl who is currently a World Food Prize intern in Chennai with Dr. S's Research Foundation delivered our invitations to him to come to Winterset for the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival, and he said "yes" !!!  I'll be sure to fill you in on the "rest of the story" after mid-October.
