[Dialogue] Virus detected in Adam Thomson's msg (OFF TOPIC)

I would like to request that we not discuss computer viruses on this 
list. It's off topic, and nearly 100% of the time, information shared 
here is not correct. 

There are many internet resources dedicated to the topic of computer 
security, please take the discussion there.
 
If you do believe a virus is attached to someone's email posted here, 
feel free to email me or Harry Wainwright directly, off the list. If 
we determine that the list needs to be alerted, we'll do it.

For the record, I see no evidence at all that either that Adam's 
posting had a virus attached or that the link he quoted has any 
problems. If anyone thinks I'm wrong, please let me know via personal 
email.
