Hi John and colleagues,

We can send attachements, they just have to be relatively small. Tim, Harry
and I receive an email requesting that we approve or disapprove of an
attachment. It's straight forward to approve it so that the posting is
allowed to go through, attachment and all.

If anyone has something really big, send it to me and I'll post it on my
.Mac server and send you the URL where the file can be downloaded. You can
then forward your message with the link to the downloadable file that you
are referencing.

BOTTOM LINE
Small attachments (say <50k) are no problem. Larger files: the are ways to
work around the listserv's limit, such as contacting a Mac-user with a .Mac
server account where big files can be posted temporarily.
