My chicken story happened in Bontoa, Indonesia.
We'd built an outdoor kitchen, as we were sleeping in different villager's 
homes.
I'd made soup in the afternoon and then went off to do other things. I came 
back to warm it up for dinner. I lifted the lid and out flew a chicken with 
a great flurry, spraying soup everywhere and giving me a bit of shock. When 
the chicken had sat on the lid, the lid tipped and in she dropped. Getting 
out had proved more difficult.
