When I returned from England in 1972, there was a new
figure on the scene. I asked about him; then got
assigned to the Academy with him that fall. What a
treat that was--to hear his lectures and watch him
work. Mystery of Mysteries--how a man of such small
stature decided to become an intellectual and spirit
giant. We'll miss him!
