A new, national, interfaith, inter-organizational, nonviolent
campaign, entitled "A Declaration of Peace" was launched in May 2006
calling for a comprehensive, concrete and rapid plan to end the US War
in Iraq with a timeline beginning Sept. 21, 2006 and endorsed (6/10/06)
by the following organizations: United for Peace and Justice; Clergy
