Just for the record, I am very, very grateful for the stuff Kroeger,
Wainright, Chagnon and others send out. The Helen Thomas piece prompts this,
but the fact that I just learned about a 300,000 person peace march in NYC
on April 28 painfully confirms that the alternative news channels--for which
read colleagues and listservs--are the only reliable source of relevant news
these days.
