It has been such an incredible experience to reconnect with you all. I have
poured over the exchanges on Secondary Ethics and have been intrigued with the
challenging and unique insights. I particularly enjoyed David Rebstock’s
appraisal of Harry Truman’s excruciating position in World War 11 and Marshall's
Music Man!

Hearing from Marshall brought back one of my (now funny) memories. My
favorite assignments always had to do with celebrations and decor. One weekend I was
assigned to transform the room for the Guardian’s final dinner...the major
focus at that time was Marjuro and so I thought “candlelight, shells and fish”
(definitely within budget). I collected tall, slender, glass cylinders and
borrowed goldfish from every available source.

Marshall loaned me the biggest and cautioned me that he wanted it back NOT
dead but alive.

I was so fearful and intimidated that I missed a good part of Leah Early’s
fabulous report because before the meal  was over Marshall’s fish was at the top
of the cylinder gulping for air.....So much for decor....

I would so love to be assigned to plan the final banquet for Mr. Rove and Mr.
Gonzales...what a celebration that could be!
