David,

I don't know where this leaves me.  My mother's family moved to Texas from Alabama around 1910.  (My mother's older sister was born in South Houston in 1911).  Then they moved back to Alabama, where my mother was born in1913.  Around 1920 they moved BACK to NE Texas (Mt. Pleasant).  My father's family were in Texas from around 1870.  

I guess that means that I live pretty near the center of the known world!
