Kawangware, on the outskirts of the city of Nairobi was the first project in
Kenya; Kamweleni, in the Machakos district, was the first "up country"
village project. John Rupert Barnes is probably your best source for
current info.

Subject: [Dialogue] First village in Kenya
I've met someone whose mom works near Machakos. I was at the consult with
my Mom for the first village in Kenya, but I can't find the name of it.
Anyone have the memory or records?
Thanks,
Karl
