Thanks, Larry, for the heads up about price. Thanks, Janice, for this
message. It's the first I've read that actually gives me hope and excitement
around this meeting. With Duncan and Mirja facilitating, the odds go up for
a meeting which will achieve some results that will heal and enthuse those
present. If your message had gotten out sooner than today, probably more
people would have already registered. Is it possible to extend the early
bird deadline a bit? Other groups do it all the time.
My 2 cents.

Subject: [Dialogue] Living Legacy Plans
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I have much admiration for the work that I know about, now being done by ICA
colleagues across the nation. And I am deeply appreciative of all current
efforts to make the wisdom and the practical learnings of EI-ICA-O:E
available for the future.
One of these efforts is the Living Legacy event, to be held in Chicago
October 5-7. Here is an update on plans.
We are very pleased that Duncan Holmes, President of ICA Associates in
Canada and Mirja Hanson, Managing Partner, Millennia International
Consulting Group, Inc. will facilitate the event. They have worked with the
Board and with the Planning Team of Judy Lindblad, Ellen Howie, and myself
to design an event that will begin to:
* assemble from those present, a large description of the work
currently being done using the methods of ICA-USA and discern the impacts of
that work;
* assess key societal issues and constituencies that need to be
addressed and served within various arenas of action, such as Sustainable
Development, Participation Edges, 21st Century Spirituality, and Profound
Vocation;
* identify roles that ICA-USA could play in supporting work on these
issues; and
* celebrate ICA's heritage and honor the expenditure of many
individuals throughout the weekend.
I am convinced that ICA has something special to give the world - including
this nation.
You are invited to explore, at the Living Legacy event, how ICA-USA can
serve the future. There is information about location and cost and you can
register on-line at www.ica-usa.org <http://www.ica-usa.org/>
