Charles and Doris:
There was "Ancestors", which I think used a ritual chant from Mowanjum (or maybe not).
I can't remember if it had more than one verse, but I think the first verse was"
Ancestors of our land,
I-i-i, bring you back,
To present time.
Walkabout, living on
The life you knew.
New world, you never dreamed of
Is in our hands. (Then a slow, stately, clapping of hands):
Clap, clap.
Clap, clap.
CLAP!
Some of these may be on the Golden Pathways CD.
Regards,
Steve Rhea
Houston, Tx. (so hot it reminds me of the Kimberleys in "The Dry").
