[Dialogue] Communication and Collaboration -- for Care and Collegiality

Dear Colleagues, especially Jan (Ulangca) and Judy (Lindblad) ,

On behalf of many of us who believe, perhaps presumptively, that we are
among the scattered Cadre who hold in our being (and in our file
cabinets) the common memory and the history (both primary and secondary
sources) of our Movement's, Order's, and Institutes' respective journeys
since the early 60s, I wonder if you could catch us up on what the
website seems to have mussed up.

The web page Judy recommended that we visit --  www.ica-usa.org  --  is
pasted below (as of today, June 24, 2007).  It suggests that one Dr. Kirk
Harris is Interim Executive Director.  However, after reading David
Dunn's e-mail response today to Darlene (Devi) that there is yet another
Executive Director, I googled the name of one Pam Wilson, the name he
mentioned.  I learned from the ICA-USA Perspectives blog spot: page
posted on May 29, 2007 that one Pam Wilson had joined the team as Interim
Executive Director -- a month before what the current ica-usa.org website
suggests is the Interim Executive Director.

Many of us who are lifelong ICA shapers, staff and stakeholders, and
might possibly once again become supporters, but now are currently very
confused and concerned re: the clarity, timeliness and truth of the
public message, wonder if you could "cut to the chase and come clean?"
(to use an old New England phrase.) 

These kinds of inconsistencies pose conundrums, contribute to questions
that erode confidence and trust , and foment dissent and cynicism, all of
which I believe you hardly intend, but which are occurring, nevertheless,
as you well know.

Joe and I hold you -- the oddly appointed Board and task force leaders --
in our prayers, and hope that you might speak out courageously and level
with us, ---on behalf of all the people and the future.

By the way, the very impressive ICAI publication that arrived in our
mailbox this week included a cover letter from Lambert Okrah.  The lead
in was a "quote" from JWM, unfortunately it also misspelled JWM's name.  

Joe Mathews' name is spelled with one T -- unlike like the Gospel
writer's name, which  is spelled with 2 Ts.
