"Third Archive" A great image for the last 30 years' work.
James Wiegel <jfwiegel at yahoo.com> wrote: I once had an encounter with JWM on a Saturday
morning. I was an intern and on children's structures
or something and I came walking into the
administration building and I heard a group of people
in what was called the international office and they
were doing gregorian chanting, and I thought "Jim, you
are a slob. Getting up late, wandering over here
after breakfast and here are these people on the
security team and they are up early and in addition
they are experimenting with Gregorian Chanting"
Just then Joe whizzed by me and into the office and
went on about the beat of our movement was the heart
beat (remember the lub dub thing about daily office??)
and you could only have one beat, etc.
And I thought, "That is a really good point, why
didn't I think of that?"
Joe came out and headed back up the hall, so I
explained how I had really appreciated the chanting
and then, when he went in and said that thing about
the beat of our movement that made even more sense,
and so I wondered how he thought up stuff like that.
He said, If you concentrate enough on trying to create
something that can hold together long enough to
actually make a difference in history, you notice
things.
So, for the first 10 years of my time with this body,
JWM was alive. The last 30 he has not been around
(except for that time he appeared to me in a dream
dressed like Elvis . . .), and so I wonder, from this
time, what that third archive contains . . . the
residue of the past 30 years, especially the past 20,
and where that is being collected, etc.
