[Dialogue] Objections to Religious Faith

Alas, I wonder if the 42% who go to church every Sunday know/or even heard  
of this. Perhaps it's those naive theists he is addressing.

I  have a lot of sympathy for the views of Christopher Hitchens and 
other  atheists. But I don't recognize the target of his ire as any 
religion I  have participated in. He appears to completely ignorant of

nontheistic  conceptions of God.

He paints a strawman of a naive theism,  and then says "I don't 
believe that - it's a poison". Very  strange.
