Lucille,

I couldn't agree more that the state of the archives is tragic.  I  
would hope that someone from the Board could please explain what the  
situation is, why it is not being cared for and what is their stance  
towards those of us who feel like you do.  Since I am in india I only  
have what others have said regarding the state of the basement  
storage at 4750.   It belongs to all of us, including all the ICA's  
around the world.  My hope is that ICAI would take the lead in this  
issue.  Let's ask a member of the Board (Carolyn?) to respond and  
let's await what they say to all of us.
