Judy and I, once again, had a great time travelling around and visiting some of you bits of "living legacy" and now are back in Tolleson down loading the video into the computer, etc.
I was downloading the tape of an interview with Carol Pierce yesterday. She told about having Joe Mathews come and do a presentation, and it was a day and a half of him talking, and it was RS1, CS1, Church history, etc. She said he would go til he got tired, then a break, then on again, sort of a long lecture . . .
Then, I did a phone interview with Patricia Nicholas earlier in the week and she talked about the structured way in which RS1 involved her participation and finding her voice in study, in conversation, in worship (everyone offering prayers).
I would like to hear stories and bits of how that change took place . . . how it got decided to structure the curriculum, how it shifted from stirring lectures to more interaction . . .
Was anyone on the list there as this change happened? How did it take place? Any stories??
Thanks
Jim
