Today, there are far too many politicians toadying to big business interests because that's where the money is. When women do this, we call them whores.
A word of clarification to the men who ask why the shock: The only illustration in the message of one who is immorally bad is whores. Is it entirely women who head businesses in this country, or only women who are the politicians who "toady to big business"? A little sensitivity to illustration, please. As in, why in the world would nigras object to be called "boy"? Or women object to Rush Limbaugh's term of "feminazis"?
Thanks - Shalom!
Janice

So I repeat: In our world today, there is precious little Free Enterprise and both the public interest and the national economy are in deep trouble as a result.
Today, there are far too many politicians toadying to big business interests because that's where the money is. When women do this, we call them whores.
It seems to me that when we can still in 2007 drop to this level of illustration the public interest is in deep trouble for far more than just its relationship to free entrprise.
When men do this are they called pimps or just saavy businessmen, "good" or "Business As Usual" politicians, or even CEOs?
FAR, FAR more radical on these points than I ever used to be and deeply offended.
Margaret
