Charles Lingo did several programmes in India under the theme"Living Life
King Size"
We were trying to use his experience with Martin Luther King as a key
dimension and so the "King". His stories are tranformative.
In it he had some dimensions related to Unconditional Love and Forgiveness
from the psycho synthesis stream. From my experience psycho synthesis
provides the broadest framework for understanding the Mind.
He also incorporated some of Buddhist meditation practices.
We also used Michael Moore's film (the first one) as a art form for
reflection.
Another stream to work with is Non violent communication (NVC). The web
site I have been referred to is www.connect-2-life. They take *orid* and
help people understand how to use it in every day dialogue.
I have developed something that I am not too happy with as yet from another
source. Thea is probably familiar with the 2 books on Centering for children
that we were introduced to about 18 to 20 years ago. The second book has a
chapter that wipes me out evry time I read it. I wish I had been exposed to
the skill when I was a youth. As I am in Mumbai I do not have the details on
hand to give you.
With all good wishes,
Mary
