[Dialogue] Rabbi Lerner in Mpls 8/31

Rabbi Michael Lerner will be speaking in Minneapolis on August 31 on  
the eve
of the Republican Convention. Seats are still available. Details  follow.

Rabbi Michael Lerner, editor of Tikkun Magazine and  co-founder of the 
Network
of Spiritual Progressives, will be talking  about the Global Marshall
Plan. This is a plan to make the world safer by  demonstrating our care
and generosity for all people, recently introduced as  a Congressional
Resolution by Congressman Keith Ellison. We've been trying to  achieve
National Security for the past five thousand of years by  dominating
others, and this hasn't made us any safer. We are now at a point  where
we need a new approach domestically and globally to recognize the  value
of each human being. Rabbi Lerner will elaborate on the details of  this
plan, talk about other supporters of this idea, and imagine what  a
world be like when we work together to alleviate world hunger,  poverty,
inadequate education, inadequate healthcare, and war.
