Dear Jim,
I am here and well and safer than I probably deserve.? I spoke with Joe yesterday just before he and John were leaving Mumbai. I asked if he was well, and he said yes, and inquired if I was also.? I said I was well enough, in town,? and in the midst of concluding a workshop in Andheri...to which he replied, "well, be careful, a lot of energy can be generated in a hurry in a workshop around here."? My conclusion: Joe Slicker is definitely OK!
Thank you for your concern.? Our friend and colleague,Gautam Gosavi sends his greetings along with mine.? I am sure he joins me in looking forward to seeing you and Judi? some time soon, as soon as we can find ourselves in the same space.? I will be here and around here until Dec. 14.

I received this note from Neil Vance.? Cynthia

I just heard 3rd hand (Joe Thomas) that Joe and John Slicker had been in the
Oberoi hotel when it was attacked by terrorists.? They are safe now.(Joe, Denny
is the now 88 year old man that married us.) They were there with that
meditation group called Synchronicity (a father and daughter from that group
were killed.)
