Dear Robyn, John and other cherished Aussie colleagues,
Bravo, three cheers and all manner of other celebrative greetings to this
milestone (and likely your direct or indirect participation in enabling
such a symbolic act.)
I remember well the courage of Silas Roberts and George Winnigudj who
came to Singapore in 1969 as participants in the first ITI, and what an
impact they made -- from introducing us to the didgeridoo (as the voice
of the Mystery) to showing us that RSI could be taught powerfully through
music and storytelling. To make that kind of participation possible our
Movement Colleagues in Australia had clearly been working for a very long
time prior to that date in authentic, person-to-person reconciliation and
accompaniment. Thank you for that and all that you have done since.
Joe and I still treasure the bark painting George sent us following the
ITI almost 40 years ago.
Grace, peace and deep affection,
Marilyn
