They gave lots of time to Winterset last night. I don't know for a fact, but they may show some of my segment & other interviews tonight. You never know - 15 minute interviews become a 1-second sound-byte, or hit the cutting room floor altogether. I thought they did a great job with it last night. Tonight we caucus!!!!!

  Nancy,
We watched the Winterset segment on the news. It was great but I did not see you. The girls were impressed they knew someone in that town.

I keep thinking about an article I read about the US political/cultural mindset is stuck in the same dichotomy we had in Pro and Anti Vietnam 1968. What does it mean when a society gets stuck in a 40 year old world view?

Then I begin to think about where am I stuck in my thinking for 40 years?

  Take care,
  Paula

Charlie Gibson from ABC-TV was in the Winterset Public Library today putting
together a story about the Iowa caucuses. I was interviewed along with
several other folks around town. You can catch my illuminating comments
either this evening at 5:30 or Thursday evening at 5:30.
