For those of you who are interested in mental health and illness, I have a
couple of recommendations: The Center Cannot Hold, by Elyn Saks. Ms Saks is a
high functioning schizophrenic who has written her own story. She is
currently a professor at the University of S. Calif.

The other is Switching Time by Richard Baer. The author is a psychiatrist
who is working with a patient whom, he eventually finds, has MPD, multiple
personality disorder. This unusual disorder is like Sybil, and The Three faces of
Eve, which you may have heard of. I had a friend in 1987 who was a multiple.
She only lived a few years after I knew her, as one of her alters killed the
whole group.

Both are new 2007 copyright dates, and very interesting to read.
