Hello,
Edwards asserts that economic justice is the answer, Hillary that political
prowess is the answer, and that Obama that the cultural (hope, unity, a
can-do attitude) is the answer.
Here's my question:
Is anyone talking about anything remotely like balance in the society? Does
anyone give any evidence of being comprehensive, futuric, and intentional? I
didn't think so and decided that it was necessary to write the three
campaigns with a message something like:
"If you're going to deal with economic injustices, if you're going to get
things done, and if you're going to release hope, you've got to proclaim and
act with attitudes and strategies something like the following:"
Offer a vision for the planet and a consistent program for America
Offer a foreign policy based on "life" as the 1st value, not "liberty"
Hold generosity and sustainability as the 1st aims of society, not profit
Support creation of wealth that creates social value
Judge legislatures on the effectiveness of their process and the
efficiency of their problem solving
It would be great to came up with a corporate list with talking points for
each and then did a lot of strategic lobbying with the political campaigns.
