Marshall Jones! You sure must be an artiste, you have a way with words. Can you at least "enable" the writers who have been on strike all this time?

Seriously, though, I think the Republicans are hoping that Hillary ends up as the nominee, because she'd be easier to beat. All they'll have to do to dig up (again!) all about "Bill", and presto - they have more than enough campaign ammo for Armageddon in November. Resurrect "Santa Monica" and all that and, Bingo - the Reps have a "play". And throw in the big BJ-in-the-Oval-Office controversy and it's like holding up all the Aces at the table.

However, the Clintons must think their name rhymes with "Peron", but hey, at least Evita had mass appeal, literally - they both drove the poor masses of Argentina into an orgasmic frenzy. Neither does their name rhyme with "Kirchner", the incumbent co-presidents, and inheritors to the mantle of Peronismo in the "Land of Silver". But, the Clints can fantasize all they want, the truth is - this ain't Argentina, and we're no Gauchos or Portenos, mama mia. Besides...Christina Fernandez de Kirchner also has mass appeal, she does have the looks and magnetic appeal.

"Don't Cry For Me Argentina", 'cuz I'm very much unlike you! Only in Argentina...but never in the U.S. Bill..."First Lady"? Never on Sunday!

See you at the precinct caucuses!

Addi

Hmm, Carlos, I had to read your msg more than once to decode 'resent' as 're-sent'. Well, I have some resentment as well over a lot of this political stuff. And I'm beginning to resent Bill showing up again as anticipated co-president 'cause he thinks we deserve a Clinton rerun. I was for Hillary until she morphed into Billary.

When I first sent this message it said it was too long and needed administrative approval. I resent it erasing all of the previous emails so that it would go through. I apparently just got approval so accept my apologies fro burdening you with the same message, especially those who did not appreciate my Nader comments (which I still stand by). Next time I will cancel the message on the site. It is good to hear from Giuliani that he is going to win Florida. He must have been taking lessons from W the decider who has given us numerous assurance of what was going to happen that were just as ludicrous.

Go Barak!

Hello all

A few of my colleagues on this list serve were adamant about Nader. Some are no longer with us. It did not remove my appreciation for our friendship but it deeply pained me. I died a thousand deaths about Nader’s participation. All of those who want to blame Gore or who then said it made no difference should by now see that it made a horrible difference. I remember discussions way back in our time on the west side about the fallacy of maintaining some illusional personal integrity and in so doing letting the public good go to hell. Ralph Nader moved from being a committed public servant to being an egoistic maniac. He personally is responsible for the unbelievable disaster of the last eight years and that overshadows anything else he did. His life’s work was finally global tragedy. Those are harsh words but he is deserving of them. He has never admitted that he contributed to the Bush disaster. To me he is much worse than irrelevant.
