Audrey was my friend and dear colleague.

She was one of the first people I met in the regional structures we called
metros. This was back in Chicago in the 70¹s and 80¹s. Audrey was already a
very wise and savvy person with persistence of a saint. When we recruited
for courses or enabled the local church galaxies ,Audrey was always in the
center of the energy swirl. She was a remarkable spirit woman who I learned
a lot from during those formative years of building a movement.

Now in the stage where I am discovering what it means to be an elder, I look
to Audrey and see a figure of elegant resilience that I can count on. So in
that sense Audrey is with me and all of us as we choose to access her. Her
continuation is very fresh in my mind even though I haven¹t seen her in a
few years.

To Joe and the family I send my heart felt condolences over our loss and
join with all of her colleagues in singing her praises!
