[Dialogue] Did NOT WORK????

    I am grateful for what EI/O:E/ICA has birthed over the past 40 years, and 
I am agog when I read on this listserve what continues to be birthed and 
nurtured by colleagues I have known.   I hope to continue reading more of those 
stories from around the globe. 
    For over 20 years (1979-2002), although our family I lived in two other 
towns, we belonged to Sacred Heart Church in Camden, NJ .   If you want to see 
a parish meaningfully engaged in the community, take a look at the website   
sacredheartcamden.org   
    But the first thing I thought of after reading all the responses to Jim's 
e-mail was not Sacred Heart.   It was the first article in a slim magazine I 
got in the mail just now, shortly before I turned on my computer:   Amnesty 
International's Spring issue.  
      (If you're interested, bring up     www.amnestyusa.org    (oops, didn't 
work).    Try    www.amnestyusa.org/join   (which did work)   Pick any 
article, under any of the headings, and you will be reading about Those Who Care in 
action all over the globe.)
     I am grateful for the incredible grassroots organizations like AI that 
have sprung up, engaged millions in mission, and grown during those past 40 
years.   We're all in this together.   Let us pass on what we have learned.
