Ron and I visited with Amelia and Dick at the
Network of Spiritual Progressives in Minnesota at
the Voting Justice, Voting Hope Conference last
April. Dick and Amelia were among the organizers
for the conference. The conference was wonderful
and it felt like "home." This morning the NSP in
Minnesota offered this tribute to Dick, to the membership.

From the Network of Spiritual Progressives Minnesota
Hello My Friends,
It is with great sadness that I write to inform
you that this past Saturday Dick Kroeger died
from a heart attack. Dick was a passionate
member of our organization, believing deeply in
the principles put forward by Rabbi Michael
Lerner, and in our own chapters ability to create
great change in this world. He was a key
organizer for both the Midwest Conference of
Spiritual Progressives and Generosity Sunday, and
was just finishing up his second year of service
on the Steering Team. He took on the task of
tracking our membership, and he began the monthly newsletter earlier this year.
Tonight we have our regular monthly
meeting. There will be time for those who wish
to come and honor his life and his work with our
organization. We will all miss his dedication,
his energy, his passion, and his deep resounding
voice calling us to a higher place. It was a
deep honor to have known him and have worked with
him. He will be sorely missed in all that we do.
In memoriam,
--
