 One of the demonstration villages was Jawale, near Pune.  The additional
letter in the name below makes me wonder if it is a typo or a different one.

OK all you India veterans what do we know about the villages of Jamkhed,
Kharda or Jawalke?  There is a fine article in the Dec National Geographic
(16 pages) on the CRHP medical program in Maharashtra.  It said the project
was started in 1970.  Anything to do with us?
